Being born in 1957, I grew up with the usual toys of my generation. The dolls, the tea sets and coloring books. I loved coloring! But a funny thing happened on the long road to today ~ computers made it to just about everywhere! We got our first one in the late 80's and haven't been without one since. Usually, we have 2-3!

We started out with an IBM with two floppy drives. You had to boot the thing up with floppies. All you could do was word processing and a few other games and things. The first thing I did was organize my recipes and print them out. I was in college at night at the time and did my papers on that old thing. Coool! We were hooked.

The next revelation for us was connectivity, a hard drive and THE INTERNET! Wow! We managed to save our pennies and get a new computer every year or so. They just kept getting better and better! And life changed for these Baby Boomers...let me show you how.
